Google Android 4.4.2 Update for Onda V819mini Tablet

Onda v819mini 7.9 inch mini Pad Google Android 4.4 KitKat Tablet

Onda V819 mini is a ARM quad-core CPU 7.9 inch IPS display mini Pad. Now the Google Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system is availabe on this tablet!

How to upgrade:

1).Download the upgrade tool – Phoenix Suit v1.0.6, and install in your windows computer, then open. Click the icon showed in following picture.

2).Now download the firmware (V819mini_V4.4_V1 Please check the back SN of your tablet. This update is for V1 v819mini tablet.)and extract to desktop in your computer and click the Image button in the software to locate to the desktop and find the firmware .img file;

3).Make sure the tablet is off and does not connect to the computer. Then holding the Volume – button, do not release. Then connect the tablet with the computer. Now click 3 Times of the power on button. You should hear some noise now from computer of new device connecting the computer, now you can release the Home button or Volume button. Note: if your tablet is auto turned on during this step, that means you have pressed the wrong button or does not do correct, please try again!;

4).The computer would start to install the driver for the tablet, if it does not install successfully, please install the driver manually. After the tablet’s driver installed, the Phoenix Suit would pop up a window, then choose YES, and another window choose YES again;

5).Do not touch the tablet and wait until the firmware is fully installed successfuly;

After that, you can now turn the tablet on. Some tablets would change back to default Chinese language. Please find the settings icon and click. Find the language settings menu, which usually starts with letter A and click. Then choose the right first line, it will show all languages available to choose from!

Different tablets might have different settings icon, but all of them are quit similar after click!

How to install driver manually in win7/win8 computer:

1).Some computer might not able to install the driver for the tablet automatically. Then please install it manually. For windows computer, it would show unknown device if the driver installation is failed. Please go to Desktop and on Computer click Right button of the mouse. Then choose “Properties”. Then please choose Device Manager:

2).Now move mouse to Unknown device and click right button of the mouse. Then choose “Update driver software”:

3).Now choose “Browse my computer for driver software”:

4).Click “Browse” button, and then locate to the driver folder in the PhoenixSuit file downloaded and click ok:

5).Click “Browse” button, and then locate to the driver folder in the PhoenixSuit file downloaded and click ok:

6).Click “Next” button, it would start to install the driver:

Before you do any firmware-install,please make sure your device is fully charged!

    Hello please I have a no name tablet 10.1 inch quad core tablet running android 4.4.2 N9106. Please my screen is flickering and open apps itself i have done hard reset and many root apps but still not solve so please what can i do
